Juan Carlos Ferrigno
Juan Carlos Ferrigno captures the speed
and power of movement in a way virtually no other artist can.
He fell in love with motorsport after seeing a race in his
native Buenos Aires at the age of 10. It was a passion, which
grew and deepened dominating his whole life.

The passion guided him through the
risks of making motorsport art into a career that has made
him one of the most dramatic motor racing artists in the world.
He has established a reputation which
spans the world, winning the 1996 International Motoring Art
Competition. His work is now sought after by generations of
team owners and drivers. The famous names include Sir Stirling
Moss OBE, Jody Scheckter, David Coulthard, Mika Hakkinen,
Ron Dennis and Eddie Jordan surely the best validation
there is.

A book, "The Motorsport Art
of Juan Carlos Ferrigno" was written by Christopher Hilton
and published by Haynes Publishing in September 2000, the
foreword for which was written by Sir Stirling Moss OBE in
which he says:-
"In
this, his (Juan Carlos Ferrigno) life story, he talks about
submitting a piece for the annual and important International
Motoring Art Competition simply because hed heard I
was one of the Judges. He entered without any real thought
of winning but only in the hope that his work would be seen.
To this day, I can remember how
impressed I was with his competition entry, which was of Fangio
driving an Alfa Romeo. The painting had such a sense of movement
and was so good that it immediately brought back memories
of the man I consider the greatest driver ever
.
it certainly got my vote. Since then he has gone from strength
to strength."
